BENNIE TRINIDAD ASSUMES NEW POSITION AS REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF NANAY

NANAY, Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Bennie Trinidad to Regional Executive Director  of NANAY- Florida.  

Bennie Trinidad has served as Administrator of the NANAY Center, located in North Miami, Florida, for the past two years. Since October 1999, he has been coordinating the supportive services for elders at the North Miami NANAY Center, and has proven his ability to instill a positive outlook among elders and youth. He has also has successfully conducted motivational seminars and workshops in the past, and has been primarily responsible for administering grants and overseeing operations at the NANAY Center. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration majoring in Management and Marketing, and has had extensive experience in management during his previous employment as Assistant Administrator in a nursing center, comptroller in a Federal Credit Union, and accounting supervisor of an investment company.

His promotion is made in conjunction with NANAY's plan to set up new satellite centers in South Dade and other parts of Florida.

As the new Regional Executive Director of NANAY-Florida, Mr. Trinidad will be in charge of providing leadership and overseeing the administrative, service and functional activities of all present and future satellite Centers in the State of Florida. This includes organizing and monitoring all regional programs and projects; signing and monitoring all service and grant contracts, fund-raising programs, trust accounts, and special projects of the Florida regional office; and assuring that all Florida satellite centers are run in a legal, cost-efficient, and socially responsible manner, in alignment with the mission of supporting the elders and the youth and in accordance with its established goals as stated in the Constitution. He will continue to provide  periodic counseling and other supportive services to clients in the North Miami Center.

A new Administrator of the NANAY Center in North Miami will be appointed soon.

 Dr. Joy Bruce will remain as President and CEO of NANAY, Inc., and will work closely with Mr. Trinidad in setting up a new satellite Center in South Dade, which is anticipated to begin services to seniors and youth within the next few months.
