NANAY
Wins Award and
Gives Vaccine
Dec 1, 2004 NANAY won the Best Winternational Float and the Best Costume and Design Awards at the North Miami's Annual Winternational Parade that was held on Thanksgiving morning --- thanks to the artistic talent of Sony Trinidad, all the hard work of our dedicated staff & volunteers, and the participation of United Chinese/Miami Dragon Boat Festival Committee. A Thanksgiving Lunch Reception was held at the NANAY Community Center immediately after the parade. Our elders and youth had a grand time, despite the drizzling rain.
Despite the limited availability of vaccines, at least 250 elders
received free Flu shots at the NANAY Community/Health Centers on Nov
12 (Fri) and Nov 23 (Tues) -- thanks to the Health Foundation of
South Florida and Maxim Health Systems.
