Asian Pacific Islander American Health Forum Scheduled at NANAY Community Center on April 9

 On April 9. 2005, from 2:00 ? 4:00 pm,  the Asian Pacific Islander American Health Forum will be held at the NANAY Community Center, located at 659 NE 125 Street in North Miami, Florida. A similar health forum will also be held in the morning, from 10 am to 12 noon at the  Coral Springs Chinese Cultural Center, 8343 W. Atlantic Boulevard, Coral Springs, 33071

Topics for discussion will focus on Health Policy, Medicare/Medicaid Reform,   Language Access, Women's Health and Resource Data Collection.

Free Glaucoma Eye Screening for Blindness will also be available on the same day at the NANAY Community Center, given by The Friends of The Congressional Claucoma Caucus Foundation, supported by Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lethinen)

The community health outreach effort is hosted by Organization of Chinese Americans ? South Florida Chapter, NANAY, Inc., NANAY Health Center, Asian American Health Professional Association of South Florida.
